Bellevue eliminated, BCS to Regionals | Prep basketball roundup

The Bellevue boys and girls were eliminated from the Sea-King tournament while Bellevue Christian will move to the 1A Regionals despite losses in the tri-district title games

The Bellevue girls were bounced from the 3A Sea-King tournament 52-37 in a loser-out game against regular season league champion Juanita.

A 25-9 advantage in the middle two quarters paved the way for the win for the Rebels, which earned a trip to the Regional round in the process.

Lynden Christian earned a 51-34 win over the Vikings in the tournament final to take the top seed to Regionals.

Bellevue Christian will face Castle Rock at 4 p.m. at Glacier Peak High School in the Regional round.

Boys basketball

BCS fell to Lynden Christian 59-56 in the final.

The Vikings will meet Toledo at 6 p.m. at Glacier Peak on Friday, Feb. 24 in the Regional round.

Bellevue was eliminated from the 3A Sea-King tournament by Mercer Island in the fifth meeting of the year between the two teams.
