Katie Savard paced the Wolverines with 13 points and Holly Warendorf added eight more in the win.

Bellevue will have a bye in the opening round of the district tournament and will open play on Tuesday, Feb. 14 against Blanchet or Lakeside.

Bellevue Christian 41 Seattle Academy 40

The Vikings stormed back in the fourth quarter to erase a five point deficit and top Seattle Academy behind a team high 11 points from Bryce Oldham and eight more from Raj Hanstad.

The Vikings will have the second seed into the 1A tri-district tournament and a bye in the first round to await ether Friday Harbor or Life Christian. BCS will host its first tournament game on Tuesday, Feb. 14 with a guaranteed spot in the regional round of state on the line.

Lake Washington 53 Bellevue 42

The Wolverines fell for the third time this season to regular season champion Lake Washington, which used a 22-10 third quarter to break open last night’s 3A KingCo tournament title game.

Guy Lynott’s 14 points were the high mark for the Kangaroos. Darien Nelson-Henry finished with 13 and Matt Staudacher had 12 more in the win.

Timmy Haehl led the way for Bellevue with 14 and Jack Walton put in 10 more. Bellevue will take the second seed to the SeaKing district tournament and will have a bye in the opening round.

Coach Chris O’Connor’s squad will open tournament play at Ingraham High School on Tuesday, Feb. 14 against the winner of a first round game between Bainbridge and Rainier Beach.

Sammamish 46 Mercer Island 66

The Islanders avenged the semi-final loss to Bellevue with a monster win over the Totems to lock up the third seed from KingCo to the district tournament.

Sammamish trailed by a pair at the end of the first half before falling into an insurmountable hole in the third period.

Coach Wes Newton’s Totems will open SeaKing district tournament play against Seattle Prep on the road on Saturday, Feb. 11.
