The Wolverines picked up three wins on their New York spring break trip, capped by a 12-5 triumph over Farmingdale.

Boys soccer

Bellevue 0 Interlake 5

Chad Shapard and Nate Lafavour both scored a pair of goals and Michael Jimma added three assists as the Saints ran away from Bellevue.

Brett Galland notched the final tally for Interlake and Dawid Papenfus and Rigel Kuhn both added assists in the win. Connor Brandli and Sumani Guliyilev combined on the shutout.

Newport 6 Bothell 7

The Knights came up just short against the defending 4A state champions as Jake Rosen took the loss on the mound. Newport now finds itself in the middle of a three-way tie for third place in the Crest at 4-5 with Eastlake and Issaquah.

Bellevue 12 Farmingdale 5

The Wolverines traveled across the country to play thee games against New York foes and came back with three wins, capped by a 12-5 defeat of Farmingdale.

Hank Bethke and Blake Samuel each scored a pair of goals and Austin Boyd finished with 11 saves in the win.

The Wolverines began the trip with an 8-4 win over Oceanside on Tuesday before beating Long Beach 10-9 Thursday.
