Fresh off the heels of last season’s third-place finish at the WIAA 3A state championship meet, the Bellevue boys cross country team received one of two Outstanding Team awards at the Clear Lake/White Pass Cross Country Camp at the end of July.
In the final camp trial, the Wolverines boys team placed three runners in the top-12: Michael Williams (2nd), Joel Ambo (4th) and Robert Ferris (11th).
Bellevue, coached by John Hill and Cliff Nixon, will return seven of its top nine varsity runners from last years team.
The first jamboree takes place on Thursday, Sept. 10 at Lake Sammamish State Park.
