Remember when you could wear shorts while playing golf? Well we sure have had a bad spring thanks to the La Niña weather system. It is supposed to be a wetter and colder than usual spring and summer.

I know gas is going up and up, but treat yourself to a long weekend at Lake Chelan. I would suggest playing Bear Mountain Ranch and Lake Chelan golf courses. They are both great, with stunning views of the best lake in the country.

While you are there, take a wine-tasting tour through one of the fabulous wineries on or close to the lake. There is a great chance of seeing some sun on the other side of the mountains. Have fun.
