Forest Ridge lacrosse honored

The Forest Ridge lacrosse team picked up an honor recently, being named 2013 Scholastic Acheievement Award recipients by US Lacrosse Washington.

The team, comprised of 20 Forest Ridge student-athletes, earned a combined 3.78 GPA on a 4.00 scale.

Sammamish-Newport 4 Issaquah 12

The Eagles wrapped up first place in the King East Conference with the lopsided win over Sammamish-Newport, 12-4 behind four Ryan Egland goals.

Issaquah put four straight on the board in the fourth and final period to erase all doubt.

The King West Conference champions from Bellevue made quick work of Skyline, as Dakota Jones put in four goals to lead the Wolverines to the win.
