HSBCAMPS will hold a three-day basketball camp at Bellevue Christian High School on Aug. 2-4.
The youth basketball camp, a morning clinic and day camp, is open to boys and girls in grades 2-10. The camp is geared towards teaching and developing the fundamentals of basketball through individualized training, group drills and team competitions.
HSBCAMPS’ staff is comprised of professional and collegiate basketball coaches and players, including University of Washington graduate Ryan Appleby.
Since its inception in 2007, HSBCAMPS has raised more than $30,000. The company recently announced a partnership with HSBCARES, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds and supplies to schools and non-profits to help children who face financial and physical obstacles and would not otherwise be able to participate in sport. With every camp registration, $5 will be donated directly to the HSBCARES fund.
Through HSBCCAMPS’ recent partnership with Eastbay, Bellevue camp participants and their families will be given access to purchase t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and basketball shoes at special team rates. Eastbay will donate 100 percent of the net profits from the apparel sales to HSBCARES. Eastbay will also award one scholarship to a local youth athlete. Additional scholarships are available through the HSBCARES fund.
All camp participants will receive a Baden basketball, HSBCAMPS t-shirt, Eastbay/Foot Locker shoe offer, BodyBuilding.com gear, Powerade gear and various other prizes provided by sponsors. The cost to attend is $175. For more information and to register of apply for a scholarship, visit www.HSBCAMPS.com.
