The Interlake volleyball team picked up another 3A KingCo win, 3-0 over Juanita.

Interlake swept another league volleyball match last night, 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-22) over Juanita. Lauren Davis had six aces and 15 digs, Carolyn Fordyce added four kills and 10 digs and Alyssa Deardorff finished with 10 digs and 25 assists for Interlake.

Bellevue was also in action last night, falling 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-19) to Mount Si. Memie Huang had three aces, one kill and seven digs in the loss.

Boys golf

Interlake remains unbeaten in KingCo golf matches after taking care of Liberty on Monday at Tam O’ Shanter in Bellevue. The Saints bested the Patriots by a stroke score of 192-222 behind co-medalists Patrick Sato and Grant Cole, who both shot 37.

Two matches remain for the defending 2A state champions from Interlake, with Mercer Island coming to Tam O’ Shanter on Oct. 3 and the regular season finale with Juanita at Wayne Golf Course in Bothell the following afternoon.
