Mikenzie Voves pitched a four-hitter as Issaquah (16-0, 16-0 KingCo 3A) defeated Newport 1-0 on May 1 to finish off an undefeated regular season and claim the KingCo title.
Stacy Hagenson took the loss for Newport (13-5, 12-4).
Issaquah is only the second KingCo 3A team to go unbeaten. Sammamish went 14-0 in 2006.

Mount Si 3, Interlake 2
Stef Rabitoy struck out seven and Sara Ostlund hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, but Mount Si’s Megan Stone hit a game-winning homer in the 8th that gave the Wildcats a 3-2 win.
Katie Brett picked up the win for Mount Si (13-6, 10-5), while Rabitoy took the hard-luck loss for Interlake (9-10, 7-9).
Liberty 5, Sammamish 1
Jesi Siemons knocked in three runs as Liberty (12-6, 10-5) knocked off Sammamish 5-1.
The Totems (7-13, 5-11) led 1-0 before Liberty scored five times in the bottom of the sixth.
Washington 5, Bellevue 0
Cheline Schroeder struck out 10 Wolverines, as Washington High School of the Nisqually 2A League defeated Bellevue 5-0 in a non-conference game.
