Knights display heart and determination at state softball tournament

Newport defeats Rogers, Puyallup and Tahoma.

The Knights finished the tournament tied for fifth place. Newport earned victories against the Rogers Rams, Puyallup Vikings and Tahoma Bears in the tourney. The Knights lost to the Camas Papermakers and the Central Valley Bears. The Knights finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 21-8.
