The Knights exploded offensively in the first half to take a 35-7 lead and used  their signature running game to pound Ballard.

Isaac Dotson, Eric Rodan and Brian Setijono all ran for scores and Paul Wells and Drew Sample caught touchdown passes from Dotson.

Newport faces Roosevelt at Memorial Stadium Friday in a 7:45 p.m. start.

Bellevue 49 Juanita 0

The Wolverines had no trouble with Juanita, as John Nguyen rushed for four scores in the first half of the 49-0 win.

Bellevue faces Interlake Friday at 7 p.m. at home.

Mount Si 63 Sammamish 0

The Totems were shutout by the Wildcats and will face Liberty at 7 p.m. Friday on the road.

Mercer Island 29 Interlake 23

The Saints put up a fight until the end but were unable to top Mercer Island on the road.

Interlake will host Bellevue this week.
