Officials from MaxPreps and the Washington Army National Guard will be on hand at Bellevue High School on Saturday, Jan. 14 to honor the Wolverines’ football team as part of the Tour of Champions.

The Wolverines defeated O’Dea in the 3A state title game to claim their fourth straight crown and ninth in the past 11 years. It also marked the second time during that stretch that Bellevue has laid claim to four consecutive titles. MaxPreps had Bellevue as the 37th ranked team in the nation at the end of the season.

The presentation will be at halftime of the boys basketball game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Bellevue High School gymnasium.

MaxPreps Tour of Champions will honor a total of 50 prep sports programs in football, boys and girls basketball and volleyball from around the country. The Wolverines also received recognition in 2006.
