Katie Mincin scored four goals and added an assist to lead Issaquah over Bellevue East 10-6. Bellevue East was led by Sapphire Jewell, who scored four goals, and Samantha Gunnerson, who made 13 saves.

BASEBALL

Newport 3, Eastlake 2

Eastlake struck for two runs in the first inning but the Knights blanked them after that, holding on to beat the Wolves 3-2. Trace Tam Sing hit a home run and a double for Newport (12-8, 9-7 KingCo 4A). Jared Fisher got the win for the Knights, who upped their win streak to six-straight games and clinched the third seed of the Crest Division with the win. Eastlake fell to 8-11 overall and 5-11 in conference play with the loss.

BOYS SOCCER

Liberty 2, Sammamish 1

Dakota McKay and Blake Kessler scored for the Patriots, helping Liberty (7-5-3, 3-5-3 KingCo 3A/2A) to knock off Sammamish 2-1. Matt Lider scored the only goal for the Totems (5-6-3-, 4-5-2) in the 70th minute.

Mount Si 2, Interlake 1

The Saints led 1-0 after Erik Fergerstrom scored in the 22nd minute, but Mount Si roared back with two goals to win 2-1. Dyson Fowler and Sam Joselyn both scored for the Wildcats (5-7-2, 4-5-2). Interlake fell to 5-8-2 overall and 3-8 in league play.

Bothell 1, Newport 0

Yordan Rivera scored the games only goal on a penalty kick as the Cougars (7-5-3, 6-3-2 KingCo 4A). Newport fell to 5-9-2 overall and 4-6-1 in conference play.
