Newport, Bellevue earn wins on the gridiron

The Bellevue Wolverines and Newport Knights football team's captured victories in the fourth week of the high school football season

Wolverines conquer rival Totems

The Bellevue Wolverines registered a 42-6 victory against the Sammamish Totems on Sept. 26 in Bellevue. Bellevue improved its overall record to 4-0 with the win. Sammamish dropped to 2-2 with the loss. Bellevue will host Glacier Peak in a non-league game at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Bellevue. Sammamish will make the short trip to Kirkland where they will face the Juanita Rebels at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Kirkland.

 

Vikings still searching for first win

The Chelan Mountain Goats defeated the Bellevue Christian Vikings 21-0 on Sept. 26 in Chelan. Bellevue Christian (0-4) will look to get its first victory of the 2014 season against the Cascade Kodiaks at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Bellevue.

 

Interlake loses low-scoring game against Lynnwood

In a contest featuring stingy defenses, the Lynnwood Royals prevailed against the Interlake Saints. Lynnwood grinded out a 15-7 victory against Interlake on Sept. 26 in Bothell. The Saints (2-2) will host the Lake Washington Kangaroos at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Bellevue.

 

Newport gets back in the win column

After two consecutive defeats, the Newport Knights got back on track with a 49-31 win against the Inglemoor Vikings on Sept. 26 in Kenmore. Newport (2-2) will host the Eastlake Wolves at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Bellevue.
