Interlake girls soccer still unbeaten after comeback win
Only two minutes into its girls soccer match with Mount Si, Interlake found itself in an unfamiliar spot.
The Wildcats took an early lead on a goal from Claire Larson only one minute into the game and held on until less than eight minutes remained.
But the unbeaten Saints refused to go quietly, getting an equalizer with only eight minutes remaining when sophomore Emma Bergstrom netted an equalizer off an assist from Courtney Fedor.
Then, with less than a minute remaining, Junior Sydney Carlson found Isabel Farrell for the game winner to keep the Saints perfect on the year at 7-0-0 (5-0-0 in 2A/3A KingCo).
Interlake will face Juanita tomorrow, which is winless in conference play before hosting Liberty, the only other unbeaten team in conference play, next Tuesday.
