Saints, Wolverines perform well at KingCo tournament
The Interlake Saints captured second place (436 team points) and the Bellevue Wolverines earned third place (435 team points) at the Class 2A/3A KingCo girls medalist tournament on May 9 in Snohomish. Bellevue’s Julia Dai captured fourth place individually, shooting an 84. Interlake athletes Olivia Benson and Katie Kester tied for fifth place, shooting an 85.

Bellevue Christian earns WIAA athlete of week honors
Bellevue Christian Vikings softball player Katie Pippel captured WIAA Athlete of the Week honors in late April. Pippel went 10-for-14 at the plate with three home runs, three doubles and nine runs scored. She also recorded 26 strikeouts in 17 innings pitched.

Lake Washington defeats Interlake
Lake Washington defeated the Interlake Saints 3-2 in the first round of the Class 3A KingCo baseball tournament on May 7. Interlake faced Juanita in a loser-out contest in the consolation round. As of press time, results were unavailable.
