Sammamish Lacrosse Club names new coach

Ian Lee, a former Division III lacrosse player and coach in the area for several years, was named head coach for the upcoming season after spending the past three years at Mercer Island.

Lee helped the Islanders to the 2011 state title and graduated from Bothell High School and Messiah College in Pennsylvania.

He will also serve as program director for the club’s youth, middle and high school teams and replaces Tyler Farrar, who went 27-9-0 and reached the Division II title game in 2011.
