2-1 victory keeps Totems in fourth
Sammamish’s Anna Geldenhuys was golden for the Totems Tuesday night.
Geldenhuy’s scored in the 70th-minute to break a 1-1 tie as Sammamish edged Bellevue 2-1 in an important KingCo 3A match.
After Geldenhuys opened up scoring in the 41st-minute with her eighth goal of the year off an assist from Tina Jacobsen, Nicoline Bach scored an unassisted goal for Bellevue to tie the game. It was Bach’s first goal of the season.
Even with the loss Bellevue (5-4-4, 5-2-2 KingCo 3A) maintained the top spot in KingCo 3A with 17 points, while the Totems (7-3-3, 3-3-3) currently sit in fourth with 12 points.
The win snapped a four-game winless streak for the Totems, who had gone 0-3-1 in its previous four conference games.
Geldenhuys is KingCo 3A’s leading scorer with nine goals and and three assists for 21 points in only eight games.

Juanita 3, Interlake 1
The Rebels had three different players score points as they rolled past Interlake 3-1 in Kirkland.
Tori Lee, Cory Biggs and Karissa Radke all had goals for Juanita (3-6-3, 3-4-1) in the win. Nusha Ghassemikia had the long goal for the Saints (3-9-1, 0-8-1).

Inglemoor 1
Newport’s Christian Meehan scored an unassisted goal in the 49th-minute to help Newport (5-5-2, 3-3-1 KingCo 4A) salvage a tie with Inglemoor.
Tiffany Ostlund opened up the scoring with a goal in the 12th-minute for the Vikings (2-3-6, 1-2-4).
