Sammamish hires new football coach
Sammamish High School has named Brian Tucci as its new head football coach, replacing Edd Webb, who resigned after the season.
Sammamish athletic director Pat McCarthy confirmed the hiring of Tucci, who spent last season on Webb’s staff as Sammamish went 2-8. Tucci, who played football at Washington State University under Mike Price, has also coached at Woodinville and Juanita.
“I am truly blessed to be given the opportunity to begin a new and long-lasting head coaching career at Sammamish High School,” Tucci said.
Tucci resides in Sammamish with his wife Holly and 4-year-old son Tanner.
BCC’s Jasckson signs Letter of Intent
Kris Jackson, BCC’s top returning sophomore, has signed a letter of intent to golf for Seattle University.
Jackson will enroll at Seattle University next fall as the Redhawks transition to the NCAA Division I level.
