The Sudden Impact Storm 17U volleyball team, which is based out of Factoria in Bellevue, captured second place at the 2017 USA volleyball girls junior National Championships in the American Division on July 3. It was the best placing in the 20-year history of the Sudden Impact Volleyball Club.

The Storm roster consists of Emily Kinsley-DeLeon, Grace Stephens, Callan Weber, Julia Westhoff, Scarlett Dahl, Claire Siefkes, Malia Aleaga, Kelly Behrbaum, Elise Petit, Patience O’Neal, Gracie Jendrezak and Katherine Pangborn. The head coach is Steve Whitaker and the assistant coaches are Tyana Andrews and Alex Simons.
