The Emerald City Basketball Academy Swish 2020 girls basketball team, which is based out of Newcastle, captured first place at the Battle at the Hive National Amateur Athletic Union girls basketball tournament 2020 Gold Division on March 20 in Oklahoma City.

The Swish defeated the Oklahoma Swarm 53-48 in the championship game. The Swish roster consisted of Jordyn Jenkins, Amanda Lee, Brandi White, Bailee Chynoweth, Kiernen Denckla, Nakia Boston, Ariel Winslow and Keeli Burton. The championship squad was coached by Keith Wasberg and Cindi Burton.
