The Sammamish Totems baseball team will face East Valley in first round of the Class 2A state playoffs at 1 p.m. on May 23 at Davis High School in Yakima. The Totems (5-20), who have won their past four games in a row, defeated the Franklin Pierce Cardinals 14-7 on May 14 in Parkland to clinch a berth in the state tourney.
