Saints fall in extras

Being shutout for nine consecutive innings usually spells disaster, but the Rebels managed to make it work on Friday when they pushed across a run in the top of the first before getting the game-winner in the top of the 11th.
Griffin Sutich was tagged with the loss in relief for the Saints, who move to 3-2 in the conference. They will face league-leading Mt. Si on Monday at home with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Bellevue outlasts M-I, wins fourth straight

Jack Meggs and Reid Wagner both belted triples in a five-run second inning and Kiernan Reynolds had a double in the frame to kick-start the offense.
Jack Carlson proved he is willing to take one (or more) for the team, getting on base three times by way of a hit by pitch. He scored each of the three times he reached, forcing the Islanders to foot the bill for his free passes.
Bellevue now sits alone in second place in 3A KingCo, behind only Mt. Si, who remains unbeaten in conference play. The Wolverines are scheduled to face Lake Washington on Monday at home with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
