Bellevue and Sammamish appear destined to decide the top of the conference while BCS is again at the forefront of the ECL.

The preps are back to a full slate after the holidays and each of the five Bellevue area teams were in action last night.

Cedar Park Christian 48 Bellevue Christian 50

The Vikings trailed by six points at the end of the first quarter before exploding for 31 points in the middle two periods behind a team-high 16 from Rajan Hanstad. Bryce Oldham scored 13 and Ethan Mitchell and Jake Vandenbrink each put in seven for Bellevue Christian.

Jacob Kragerud paced CPC with 11 and Trey Dechsel and Scottie Lin both finished with 10 in the loss.

Mercer Island 82 Interlake 47

The Islanders built a nearly 30-point lead at halftime and cruised to the victory behind a game high 22 points from Sam Cohn.

Joe Rasmussen added 15 for the Islanders and Sam Finfer was the only Interlake player in double figures with 18.

Sammamish 61 Juanita 52

The Totems remained unbeaten in league play and atop the conference with the nine point win over the Rebels.

John Steinberg had 19 for Sammamish and George Valle added 12 more in the win.

Avery Britton, Devan Jackson and Ryan Reid each had 12 for Juanita in the loss.

Bellevue 54 Mount Si 37

Bellevue is the only other unbeaten in 2A/3A KingCo play this season and picked up another win on Tuesday, 54-37 over Mount Si.

Tyler Hasty led the way with a game-high 21 and Cole Walton put in 10 more for the Wolverines while Jason Smith and Miles Zupan both scored 11 for the Wildcats.

The Wolverines and Totems will square off on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Bellevue and again to close the regular season on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Bothell 61 Newport 52

Zach LaVine poured in a game-high 24 and Perrion Callandret added 13 more as the Cougars built an 11 point lead at the half and never looked back.

Isaac Dotson paced the Knights with 15 while Miles Fowler added 11 and Will Ferris finished with 10.
