Junior Kim Williams added to her laundry list of accomplishments in the pool over the weekend, helping the Wolverines to a fourth place finish and capturing two more individual titles in the process at the 3A Sea-King District swim and dive meet.
Williams, a student at Bellevue Christian School in Clyde Hill and swimmer for Bellevue High School, took the 200 yard individual medley in an automatic All-American time of two minutes, 2.90 seconds, blowing away the field by more than four seconds en route to the title. She came back in the 100 breast to win in an All-American consideration time of 1:04.40, well in front of the second place finisher.
The three-time state champion, in the 100 breast in 2011 and 2012 and the 200 IM during her sophomore season, will not be alone in her quest for the podium next week.
Teammate Naomi Ngo was fourth in the event for the Wolverines in 2:14.89 to finish fifth and also took fourth in the 100 fly to qualify for state in both events.
Hannah Walsh, a junior, was second in the diving competition, finishing with 342.65 points and teammate Ayane Rossano was seventh.
Bellevue’s team of Williams, Christina McDermott, Naomi Ngo and Hannah Walsh was fifth in the 200 medley relay in 1:52.90 to take the final automatic berth to state in the event and McDermott also qualified for state in the 100 breast with a fourth place finish.
