The Spartans swept away Bellevue in the non-league match. Elise Berberoglu led the way for the Wolverines in the loss with 10 kills and 10 digs.

The Wolverines picked up a win in the season-opener as they look for a three-peat in the pool after winning the last two state championships, beating crosstown Newport 11-3.
